The International Education Board was established with a clear and enduring purpose: to strengthen quality assurance and international recognition in education through independent, structured, and globally aligned accreditation frameworks. What began in 2012 as an initiative focused on skill education quality has evolved into a broader international mandate, reflecting the changing landscape of global education.

Today, education extends far beyond traditional classrooms. Universities, schools, online learning platforms, professional programs, vocational training, and lifelong learning pathways all play a vital role in shaping modern societies. IEB was formed to support this diversity by providing credible, non-governmental accreditation and quality benchmarks that respect national regulations while enabling global comparability.
